Description

  • Own and extend Terraform-based infrastructure across multiple GCP environments, including GKE, Cloud SQL, networking, buckets, and IAM.
  • Drive the rollout of the new platform and the migration away from legacy infrastructure.
  • Manage Kubernetes workloads on GKE and maintain Dockerfiles and Helm-style application configurations for backend services.
  • Tune autoscaling, resource limits, and pod disruption budgets for containerized workloads.
  • Maintain and improve GitHub Actions pipelines for tests, Terraform checks, image builds, deployments, and database migration gating.
  • Operate Postgres, Redis, and Celery-based asynchronous workers, including migrations, queue health, and backpressure management.
  • Own the observability stack, including Grafana dashboards, ClickHouse, Langfuse, and Celery metrics, and build alerts and SLOs.
  • Manage secret distribution, least-privilege IAM, and remediation tracking in partnership with engineering.
  • Monitor cloud and LLM-proxy spend and improve the resilience of simulation and evaluation pipelines.
  • Work closely with backend, ML, and frontend engineers to make deployments repeatable, safe, and self-service.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or strong backend experience with heavy infrastructure ownership.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform, including modules, state management, and multi-environment setups.
  • Production Kubernetes experience with deployments, services, autoscaling, debugging, and rollouts/rollbacks.
  • Strong Docker fundamentals and experience writing and optimizing Dockerfiles.
  • Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, ideally with GitHub Actions or similar tools.
  • Comfort scripting and reading code in Python and/or Bash, and navigating a polyglot monorepo.
  • Operational experience with relational databases and managed database services, including migrations, backups, and performance.
  • A reliability mindset with experience in monitoring, alerting, incident response, and runbook writing.
  • Cloud experience with GCP preferred; AWS or Azure experience is transferable.
  • Bonus: Experience operating Celery or other distributed task queues and Redis at scale.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with LLM/AI infrastructure such as model proxies, GPU scheduling, or token/cost management.
  • Bonus: Observability tooling depth with Grafana, Prometheus, ClickHouse, OpenTelemetry, Langfuse, or similar tracing tools.
  • Bonus: Security and compliance experience, including IAM hardening, secret management, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Bonus: Cost-optimization experience for cloud services and third-party API spend.
  • Bonus: Experience supporting a monorepo with multiple language ecosystems and editable/internal package dependencies.
