Description

  • Champion DevOps culture by identifying friction points and implementing scalable automation to improve reliability, delivery speed, and developer experience.
  • Operate and optimize production environments using infrastructure as code and modern observability tools to ensure stability and performance.
  • Build internal self-service tools that enable R&D teams to own their operational workflows.
  • Lead deployment lifecycles, including architecture, design, and hands-on implementation across multiple regions and environments.
  • Collaborate across teams to drive technical decisions and challenge the status quo.
  • Own and improve the deployment and operational processes that support Torq's platform.
  • Support teams with tooling and automation that increases efficiency and consistency.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a DevOps, SRE, or Production Engineer.
  • Hands-on experience with production workloads on a public cloud platform such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD and release engineering tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, ArgoCD, or Argo Rollouts.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Terragrunt.
  • Scripting or programming experience in Bash, Python, or Go.
  • Familiarity with observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, or VictoriaMetrics.
  • Collaborative, curious, and adaptable mindset.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adopt new technologies while balancing real-world constraints.
