Description

  • Extend and enhance the in-house platform for managing and automating SaaS deployments into AWS environments.
  • Write and maintain Java code to deploy and integrate AWS resources for Sapio’s offerings.
  • Design, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure components for SaaS deployments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve deployment and infrastructure issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain documentation for technical solutions.
  • Follow established SDLC processes and development standards.
  • Support testing and validation of platform deployments and updates.
  • Collaborate with the core platform engineering team to improve platform performance, resilience, and automation.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Several years of hands-on AWS experience in a professional environment.
  • Strong Java programming skills and comfort with Java development workflows.
  • Experience with software development in a team environment.
  • Strong programming skills with detailed knowledge of Java.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and fact-finding skills.
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to deliver agreed work within deadlines with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Self-starter who is willing to learn from colleagues and collaborate effectively.
  • Preferred experience with AWS services such as EC2, ECS, RDS, Lambda, S3, VPC, and CloudFormation.
  • Preferred knowledge of AWS networking and security controls, including VPC design, subnet isolation, VPN connectivity, VPC peering, and PrivateLink.
  • Preferred experience using IaC tools such as Terraform, OpenTofu, or Pulumi.
  • Preferred knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Preferred experience with Linux/Unix environments.
  • Preferred familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Preferred knowledge of build systems such as Maven or Gradle.
