Description

  • Conduct daily cold calls and field visits to identify and win unassigned or low-volume decorator accounts.
  • Build trusted partnerships with local decorators and screen printers to become their preferred blank apparel supplier.
  • Uncover customer pain points and position SanMar basics as a high-margin solution.
  • Deliver product presentations that highlight the quality, value, and reliability of core basic lines.
  • Educate small-scale decorators on how to use SanMar’s marketing tools to grow retail sales.
  • Document cold calls, lead interactions, and field activities daily in the CRM database.
  • Plan efficient travel schedules and territory routes to maximize face-to-face customer time.
  • Comply with company policies and standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 4–6 years of related sales experience.
  • 1–3 years of industry sales experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and a good driving record.
  • Ability to analyze emerging business trends and evaluate the viability of opportunities.
  • Ability to build partnerships and communicate effectively with customers, sales teams, and internal departments.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to follow through on projects and manage multiple tasks at once.
  • High degree of professionalism, integrity, objectivity, and service orientation.
  • Must be assertive, enthusiastic, energetic, sales-oriented, and outgoing.
  • Exceptional organization, planning, and time-management skills.
  • Flexibility to travel and relocate if needed.
  • Ability to reside in the main metropolitan or comparable area of the managed territory, preferably Dallas-Fort Worth, TX.
  • Must be able to provide a credit card for business expenses and wait 2–4 weeks for reimbursement.
