Description

  • Lead sales efforts for backup power generation and commercial power generation solutions across the assigned territory.
  • Deliver new business opportunities while managing relationships with existing customers, partners, engineering firms, distributors, and end users.
  • Expand the customer base and increase revenue through direct sales to the data center, hospital, and college and university markets.
  • Work with mechanical, electrical, and consulting engineering firms to influence specifications and support target market development.
  • Present product technical features and benefits to customers and stakeholders.
  • Achieve established territory sales targets and quotas.
  • Develop, document, and implement tactical sales and marketing plans.
  • Recommend and create sales and marketing tools, standards, and procedures, including literature, presentations, and trade show displays.
  • Identify and propose new product concepts based on market needs.
  • Develop channels to market and recruit sales staff, distributors, representatives, and dealers.
  • Manage and develop distributors and representatives through sales, marketing, onboarding, training, and forecast tracking support.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales management within the power generation or backup power industry.
  • Strong technical understanding of power generation systems and ancillary equipment.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective customer engagement.
  • Ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies.
  • Adept at conducting market analysis to identify new business opportunities.
  • Goal-driven mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
