Description

  • Develop a strategy and framework to market DIRECTV offerings to existing residents in MDU properties.
  • Build and lead a team responsible for increasing DIRECTV sales across national MDU accounts.
  • Recruit, train, and develop internal and external team members supporting MDU properties.
  • Create best practices, training materials, and sales strategies to improve conversion rates within the existing customer base.
  • Cultivate relationships with property managers, site staff, ownership, and residents.
  • Provide product knowledge and sales materials such as welcome kits, door hangers, flyers, and online resources.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for DIRECTV in the MDU space.
  • Work independently while collaborating with management and partners to solve problems and make real-time decisions.
  • Travel 50%–60% as needed to support the role.

Requirements

  • Previous experience selling into the MDU space is required.
  • 10+ years of sales experience is required.
  • 5+ years of management experience is required.
  • Previous telecom sales experience in internet, mobility, security, or television is required.
  • Knowledge of the telecommunications and entertainment industry is preferred.
  • Strong technical skills and creative thinking to solve problems and make real-time decisions.
  • Ability to handle complex tasks with strong attention to detail.
  • Action-oriented with initiative, problem-solving ability, and investigative skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
