Description

  • Drive and manage Jira tickets across multiple teams to resolve broadband network initiatives and planning efforts.
  • Coordinate network installations, ring collapses, network enhancements, upgrades, capacity planning, and port activities.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including inside plant, implementation, field operations, and optical network teams.
  • Coordinate with the Enterprise Engineering team to align on project execution steps.
  • Track and report on project progress, risks, dependencies, and milestones.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including presentations and status decks.
  • Drive accountability across teams to ensure timely delivery of project objectives.
  • Adapt quickly to new tools and processes as client systems evolve.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of project or program management experience in the broadband/telecom industry in enterprise environments.
  • Experience working with Jira tickets to resolve network initiatives and issues.
  • Familiarity with network infrastructure, architecture, and related workflows.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and facilitate discussions across technical and business stakeholders.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Jira; Smartsheet or MS Project is also required/preferred.
  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting optical or broadband network engineering teams.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable in a dynamic, evolving environment.
  • Must live in the continental U.S.; role supports EST, CST, and MST time zones.
  • This is a long-term remote contract through the end of the year, with possible extensions.
  • Not eligible for visa sponsorship, visa transfer, or C2C arrangements.
