Description

  • Become an expert on Samsara’s IoT product portfolio spanning hardware, software, and cloud solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues with medium to high complexity.
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and helpful manner while meeting SLA goals.
  • Author and maintain customer-facing knowledge base articles with Enablement.
  • Work with Engineering and Product teams to reproduce bugs and build testbeds as needed.
  • Provide product and process feedback to Support Management to improve the customer experience.
  • Collaborate with support engineers across multiple locations to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Champion Samsara’s cultural principles while working across a global, fast-scaling organization.

Requirements

  • B.S. or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Science, Business, or another analytical field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in support, engineering, or other technical roles.
  • Strong familiarity with CRMs such as Zendesk or Salesforce.
  • Comfort interfacing with engineers, translating complex technical concepts, and working with SaaS systems.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence individual contributors and leaders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong bias for action, ability to dive deep, and insistence on high standards.
  • Ability to thrive in a hyper-growth environment with shifting priorities.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including rotating nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Experience with SaaS platform operations or hands-on interest in Python, JSON, scripting, databases, or cloud systems (preferred).
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (preferred).
  • Remote role open to candidates residing in the US except the San Francisco Bay Metro Area, NYC Metro Area, and Washington, D.C. Metro Area; relocation assistance is not provided.
