Description

  • Execute Level I installer duties while following documentation and installation standards.
  • Manage project and service tickets with organized, timely updates and follow-through.
  • Take ownership of assigned scopes, service expectations, and task completion.
  • Lead installation teams by delegating work and maintaining productivity.
  • Mentor Level I installers and encourage continuous improvement through feedback.
  • Communicate regularly with Project Delivery Coordinators, Project Managers, and customers.
  • Perform Factory Authorized Testing (FAT) before installation to verify product quality.
  • Configure, program, and commission systems and devices to ensure reliable operation.
  • Deliver basic customer training on system operation.
  • Accept additional job duties as needed to support business operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a previous construction trade.
  • Advanced knowledge of electricity, including high and/or low voltage.
  • Hands-on field experience from previous work.
  • Basic telecommunications knowledge, including TCP/IP, networking, computers, and VoIP.
  • Ability to identify and use common low-voltage cabling.
  • Working knowledge of basic IT networking, configurations, and IP addressing.
  • Ability to read architectural drawings.
  • Team management or supervisor experience.
  • Previous experience completing projects within scope and using service ticketing processes.
  • Knowledge of fire, CCTV, intrusion, or emergency nurse call systems is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license required.
