Description

  • Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the In-Vehicle Experience platform.
  • Define and prioritize features that make the in-cab camera a trusted companion in drivers’ daily workflows.
  • Build the in-vehicle experience platform and prioritization layer for internal teams.
  • Partner with firmware and full-stack engineering teams to deliver reliable in-cab experiences within hardware and embedded system constraints.
  • Collaborate with AI and ML teams to integrate intelligent features into the in-cab experience.
  • Conduct customer research through ride-alongs, interviews, and usability sessions to understand frontline worker needs.
  • Define success metrics, monitor product performance, and drive experimentation and iteration using data and customer feedback.
  • Partner with other PM teams across the organization to design reusable frameworks and deliver customer-facing features.
  • Champion Samsara’s cultural principles as the company scales globally.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience with a proven track record shipping products used by real end users at scale.
  • Demonstrated experience shipping AI-powered or ML-driven features.
  • Strong customer research skills and experience translating insights into successful product strategies.
  • Platform thinking experience with a track record of designing systems and frameworks that serve multiple downstream consumers.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to align cross-functional stakeholders and explain technical tradeoffs to diverse audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Experience working at the hardware-software intersection, including firmware constraints, embedded systems, or connected devices.
  • Experience building in-vehicle products.
  • Experience with voice-based or audio products, or designing for hands-free and eyes-free interaction patterns.

Benefits

  • Annual base salary range of $116,322 to $195,500 USD.
