Description

  • Coach a team of approximately 8 account executives on sales strategy, pipeline reviews, and quarterly target attainment.
  • Hire new account executives and provide onboarding and ongoing coaching to support their growth and success.
  • Work cross-functionally to solve problems and manage projects strategically.
  • Create training content for ongoing learning and development.
  • Support account executives with professional development plans.
  • Provide clear, tactical feedback to account executives.
  • Help build team culture across the commercial organization with high emotional intelligence.
  • Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles as the company scales globally.
  • Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, engaged, high-performing team.

Requirements

  • Reside in Canada for this remote position.
  • Proven success owning a complex selling motion from prospecting through close.
  • Strong track record of overachievement with experience coaching a team on outbounding.
  • Understanding of complex sales cycles with multiple decision makers, multiple products, and extended timeframes.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort with public speaking.
  • Strong interpersonal and team management skills.
  • Self-starter who is adaptable to change.
  • Continued growth mindset and interest in learning a unique industry.
  • Proven proficiency in data-driven decision making.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide upward feedback to management.
  • Ability to analyze and accurately forecast existing pipeline.
  • Existing Team Lead experience strongly preferred.
  • Comfort working with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with SFDC, SalesLoft, and Gong.
  • Strong understanding of the customer base and competition.
