Description

  • Champion Samsara’s cultural principles while supporting global growth.
  • Become an expert on Samsara’s IoT, AI, and computer vision product suite.
  • Explain how customers use Samsara to solve industry-specific operational challenges.
  • Lead discoveries, demonstrations, value assessments, and proof-of-concept implementations.
  • Guide installers through product installation best practices and deployment planning.
  • Write and document scripts that use Samsara’s open API to solve customer problems.
  • Advise customers on integration, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Serve as a liaison between product and sales teams by translating technical feedback.
  • Enroll appropriate customers in beta programs.
  • Support technical solution design for essential-service and physical-operations customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree from a 4-year accredited university.
  • Professional fluency in both French and English, written and verbal.
  • 2+ years of experience in a pre-sales, technical consulting, solutions architect, customer success, or customer/product support role.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders through technical sales acumen and understanding of business processes and change management.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Previous experience managing hardware and/or software product evaluations.
  • Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems.
  • Experience with technical consulting, cloud software, cloud-connected hardware, computer networking, business systems integration, automation, and control systems.
  • Bachelor of Science degree or advanced education in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Experience with task automation scripting and data transfer using Bash, Python, JavaScript, or an equivalent language is preferred.
  • Experience building solutions using open APIs is preferred.
  • Understanding of vehicle diagnostic systems, including CAN bus and PTO applications, is preferred.
  • Hobbyist interest in electronics-driven projects such as car audio installation, classic car restoration, home automation, Raspberry Pi, or Arduino is preferred.
  • Consistent track record of selling complex technical solutions through strategic sales cycles is preferred.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% of the time.
