Description

  • Champion Samsara’s cultural principles while supporting the company’s global growth.
  • Build long-term customer relationships and act as a trusted technical advisor to expand the installed base.
  • Partner with the sales team to define territory and account strategies that drive customer success.
  • Become an expert on Samsara’s value proposition and how it applies to customer business challenges.
  • Explain to prospects how similar businesses use Samsara to solve industry-specific problems.
  • Lead discoveries, product demonstrations, value assessments, and proof-of-concept implementations.
  • Guide installers on best practices for product installation and help build deployment plans.
  • Develop sample proof-of-concept scripts using the company’s open API and document them for other sales engineers.
  • Work with customers on topics such as logistics management, workplace safety, fleet maintenance, asset management, and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience working with customers in a pre-sales, customer success, or customer/product support role.
  • Ability to continue learning and developing professionally.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders using technical sales acumen and understanding of business processes and change management.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience managing hardware and/or software product evaluations.
  • Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems.
  • Experience with technical consulting, cloud software, cloud-connected hardware, computer networking, business systems integration, and automation/control systems.
  • Strong ability to identify customer value and prioritize what matters most to the customer.
  • Preferred: advanced degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field.
  • Preferred: 5+ years of enterprise pre-sales experience.
  • Preferred: experience with scripting or data transfer using Bash, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
  • Preferred: experience building solutions with open APIs.
  • Preferred: understanding of vehicle diagnostic systems, including CAN bus and PTO applications.
  • Preferred: hobbyist experience with electronics-driven projects such as car audio, classic car restoration, home automation, Raspberry Pi, or Arduino.
  • Preferred: proven success selling complex technical solutions through strategic sales cycles.
  • Preferred: located in Mexico City.
  • Preferred: fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Remote position open to candidates currently residing in Mexico, preferably near the Mexico City metropolitan area.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
