Description

  • Own the performance and development of a team of Mid-Market Account Executives across the DACH territory.
  • Hold reps accountable to pipeline targets, activity standards, and forecast hygiene through structured weekly operating rhythms.
  • Coach each rep individually on territory planning, discovery, and closing complex multi-stakeholder deals.
  • Build and sustain a predictable outbound pipeline engine with clear generation targets and weekly pipe reviews.
  • Join key deals to coach and, when needed, help close opportunities through critical sales stages.
  • Partner with Sales Engineering, ADR leadership, Marketing, and your Director on territory strategy and cross-functional execution.
  • Hire and onboard exceptional talent through sourcing, assessment, and team-building.
  • Contribute to the scaling of Samsara’s Mainland Europe business by sharing best practices and supporting broader commercial initiatives.
  • Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles across the team.
  • Build and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high-performing team.

Requirements

  • 2 years of proven experience as a frontline sales manager in a B2B technology or SaaS environment.
  • Experience leading a team of at least five Account Executives in a direct, outbound-led selling motion.
  • At least 5 years of prior experience as an individual contributor in a quota-carrying outbound sales role.
  • Strong deal qualification fluency using MEDDPICC or an equivalent framework.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively manage performance, including structured coaching plans and difficult conversations.
  • Located in Germany.
  • Ability to travel within the DACH region for in-person meetings with prospects, customers, and the Samsara EMEA team.
  • A coaching-first leadership style with differentiated development for each rep.
  • Deep familiarity with transport, logistics, field services, construction, or manufacturing is preferred.
  • Experience building outbound pipeline from the ground up in a low-inbound environment is preferred.
