Description

  • Support Samsara's cloud-first IT strategy and help enable rapid company growth.
  • Plan new site setups and handle network bring-up and troubleshooting.
  • Administer SaaS applications including Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom.
  • Configure and manage Okta app integrations and automation rules.
  • Deploy and manage collaboration and productivity systems at scale.
  • Plan and integrate workplace tools and services, including cloud-based telephone systems.
  • Manage escalated support tickets and respond to internal requests in a timely, helpful manner.
  • Document IT policies and procedures.
  • Identify and implement automation, continuous improvement, and process optimization opportunities.
  • Mentor new hires and help drive core operations that keep the company secure and productive.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in an IT role.
  • At least 2 years of Tier II escalation support experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Okta and Google Workspace.
  • Must reside in Canada.
  • Must be able to work Pacific Time, between 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM PST.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field is preferred.
  • Technical certification is preferred.
  • Experience with Apple products such as MacBooks and iPhones is preferred.
  • Experience managing cloud-based telephone systems, including call routing, IVR, CRM integration, and handsets/softphones is preferred.

Benefits

  • Annual base salary of CAD $79,050 to $93,000.
