Description

  • Define the product strategy for AI-native characters that build ongoing relationships across social and other digital platforms.
  • Own the product roadmap and operating cadence in partnership with the CEO and founders.
  • Build core AI character primitives such as memory, personality, continuity, voice, goals, and boundaries.
  • Partner with engineering on agent architecture, iteration cycles, and scalable product primitives.
  • Create evaluation frameworks and measurement systems for character quality, engagement, retention, conversion, and customer ROI.
  • Shape character behavior on social platforms, including posting, replying, direct messages, and comment interaction.
  • Develop platform-specific playbooks for attention, relationship-building, safe behavior, and action-driving flows.
  • Translate social-first learnings into reusable multi-platform product capabilities, APIs, integrations, and self-serve workflows.
  • Own trust, safety, governance, moderation, disclosure, privacy, and compliance systems for deployed AI agents.
  • Lead customer discovery with design partners, brands, studios, and growth teams to turn bespoke deployments into repeatable platform requirements.

Requirements

  • Experience building AI-native, data-driven, technical, or highly ambiguous products.
  • Experience at social platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, or Reddit.
  • Strong product judgment around user behavior, engagement loops, retention, and growth.
  • Ability to work deeply with engineering on systems, architecture, tradeoffs, evals, and constraints.
  • Experience translating customer needs into platform primitives and repeatable workflows.
  • Ability to operate in a zero-to-one startup environment where strategy, execution, customer learning, and product process happen simultaneously.
  • Experience with enterprise SaaS, marketing technology, customer engagement, CRM, community, or growth platforms is preferred.
  • Experience with AI companions, chatbots, character AI, conversational agents, or agentic systems is preferred.
  • Background in gaming, interactive storytelling, game publishing, community management, UA, or live operations is preferred.
  • Experience with analytics, attribution, experimentation, moderation, or compliance products is a plus.
