Description

  • Own and execute the company’s event strategy across large-scale branded activations and frequent community pop-ups.
  • Design repeatable activation systems, kits, mockups, and logistics for events at different sizes.
  • Oversee end-to-end event operations, including vendors, permits, freight, equipment, staffing, run-of-show, compliance, and teardown.
  • Drive on-site subscriber acquisition and optimize sign-up volume, test completion, and event CAC.
  • Build and manage the event calendar with leadership, prioritizing key DMAs and high-signal cultural moments.
  • Design, launch, and scale a Community Lead program across priority metros.
  • Recruit, onboard, and manage local brand representatives who activate in run clubs, gyms, and wellness communities.
  • Develop local density strategies and build sustained relationships with influential networks, micro-influencers, and community groups.
  • Identify, negotiate, and execute brand partnership deals with adjacent sports, wellness, and lifestyle properties.
  • Build a sports marketing capability and position Rythm as a partner for athletes, teams, and events.
  • Treat events as content production opportunities and ensure activations generate photo, video, and UGC for digital channels.
  • Coordinate with creative teams on shot lists, same-day posting, and post-event content packages.
  • Develop branded merchandise and activation assets that extend Rythm’s visual identity beyond the event.
  • Build and lead the Events & Community function, including org design and critical hiring.
  • Create scalable operational infrastructure, manage budgets, and own the Events & Community P&L.
  • Report results to leadership and serve as the bridge between IRL learnings and customer-facing digital teams.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in experiential marketing, events, community, or brand partnerships at a high-growth consumer, health/wellness, or DTC brand.
  • Experience building an events or community program from scrappy to scaled.
  • Proven track record of driving measurable acquisition through IRL channels, including sign-ups, conversions, and CAC.
  • Experience building and managing a distributed field team with incentives, content expectations, and performance accountability.
  • Brand partnerships or business development experience with sports properties, wellness brands, or cultural platforms.
  • Strong creative instinct and content sensibility for turning live events into social content.
  • Genuine affinity for health, wellness, endurance, or fitness communities.
  • Extreme comfort with ambiguity and startup pace.
  • Exceptional project management and logistics skills, including managing both large custom activations and scrappy pop-ups.
  • Heavy travel required; must be comfortable traveling 1-2 weeks per month.
