Description

  • Build and maintain relationships with founding engineers and technical leaders at Bay Area startups.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for startup inquiries and support.
  • Act as a liaison between the startup community and Neo4j.
  • Create technical content including blog posts, tutorials, videos, and documentation.
  • Develop code samples, demos, and SDKs that help developers use Neo4j products.
  • Present technical talks, webinars, and workshops at developer events.
  • Advocate for Neo4j products and technologies within the developer community.
  • Gather developer feedback and share insights with product and engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with product management to align product development with developer needs.
  • Create and manage developer forums, communities, and user groups.
  • Organize and participate in meetups, hackathons, and other developer events.
  • Develop educational resources, training materials, and best practices for developers.
  • Use data and analytics to track engagement and measure advocacy impact.
  • Prepare regular reports and recommendations on community performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in developer advocacy, developer relations, or a related technical role.
  • Deep technical knowledge and proficiency in relevant technologies.
  • Exceptional public speaking, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Strong content creation abilities, including writing, video creation, and code samples.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and community-building skills.
  • Passion for technology and fostering a thriving developer community.
  • Experience working with startups, incubators, VCs, or founder communities is preferred.
  • Experience using data and analytics to measure community engagement is preferred.

Benefits

  • Annual base salary range of $190,000 to $260,000 USD.
