Description

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to CIOs, CISOs, and board-level stakeholders on data protection, cyber resilience, identity protection, and recovery readiness.
  • Partner with regional leadership to drive revenue outcomes through high-impact technical discovery and solution design for Tier-1 accounts.
  • Lead opportunity qualification and deal strategy using the MEDDIC framework, including identifying champions and addressing competitive threats.
  • Translate field requirements into actionable product input for the Product Management team and influence the APJ roadmap.
  • Design integrated solutions across on-premises, SaaS, identity, and multi-cloud environments.
  • Architect cyber security solutions including isolated recovery environments and clean room recovery.
  • Represent Rubrik at selected industry events and executive forums, and support thought leadership and key marketing engagements.
  • Align Rubrik’s platform to measurable business outcomes such as operational continuity, risk reduction, regulatory compliance, and AI readiness.

Requirements

  • 18+ years of experience in Sales Engineering or Technical Consulting.
  • Proven success winning 7-figure enterprise deals across APJ.
  • Strong executive presence with experience engaging CIO, CISO, and board-level stakeholders.
  • Deep experience in data protection, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity, including zero trust, isolated recovery environments, and cyber recovery.
  • Ability to connect technical strategy to financial and operational impact.
  • Entrepreneurial, resourceful, and able to work with a strong ownership mindset.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with multiple calls and demos per day and immediate follow-up.
  • Strong understanding of APJ market dynamics, regulatory landscapes, and cultural nuances.
  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
