Description

  • Conduct in-depth research on the latest technologies in the ad tech domain.
  • Experiment with new technologies and evaluate their effectiveness and feasibility.
  • Build proof of concepts and prototypes to test experimental solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess integration opportunities for new technologies.
  • Communicate findings and suggestions with external organizations such as browser vendors, W3C, and GitHub communities.
  • Explore privacy-related mechanisms, including Privacy Sandbox APIs, and suggest improvements.
  • Investigate Android and iOS solutions to improve mobile platform performance.
  • Leverage machine learning opportunities in research and prototyping efforts.
  • Contribute original ideas for new research directions and experiments.
  • Mentor less experienced colleagues within the team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a researcher or engineer.
  • Strong programming skills and the ability to understand large, complex systems and architectures.
  • Openness and willingness to experiment, learn, and explore new technologies.
  • Independence and a proactive attitude with the ability to take initiative and make decisions.
  • A goal-oriented mindset and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across internal teams and external organizations.
  • Ability to build proof of concepts and experimental prototypes.
  • Experience with Python, Java, Scala, or TypeScript/JavaScript.
  • Experience with PyTorch, NumPy, Pandas, Jupyter Notebooks, BigQuery, or GCP is relevant.
  • Experience with browser engines, privacy mechanisms, or mobile platform development is a plus.
