Description

  • Research, evaluate, and prototype cutting-edge AI solutions using LLMs, computer vision, and other machine learning techniques.
  • Design and build scalable, cost-effective AI services and data processing pipelines for high-volume document processing.
  • Develop systems that handle production AI challenges such as LLM latency, variance, prompt engineering, and fault tolerance.
  • Lead document classification, entity extraction, image search, and related AI initiatives from concept to production.
  • Serve as the primary AI/ML technical authority for the content portfolio.
  • Mentor and guide a large engineering team on AI architecture and implementation decisions.
  • Drive mission-critical initiatives to production and help establish an AI center of excellence.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a track record of building complex, data-intensive backend systems.
  • 5+ years of experience building and scaling production-grade services using FastAPI, Django, Sanic, Spring Boot, or similar frameworks.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience across the full AI/ML lifecycle, including experimentation, deployment, monitoring, and iteration in a high-volume cloud environment.
  • Strong experience designing large-scale distributed systems with asynchronous patterns, streaming, queuing, caching, and observability.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence engineering direction across teams without direct authority.
  • Proficiency with modern DevOps and MLOps practices, including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
