Description

  • Conduct research on reinforcement learning topics, including large-scale self-play RL, VLA post-training, and closed-loop RL using neural simulation for autonomous driving.
  • Explore fundamental reinforcement learning methods and related areas such as imitative behavior learning and reward learning.
  • Collaborate with Research Scientists and Engineers to produce high-quality research publications for top-tier conferences.
  • Apply research contributions to autonomous and robotic systems across self-driving vehicles, mining and construction machines, humanoid robots, and dexterous hands.
  • Work within a fast-paced, customer-focused research environment and learn best practices from the autonomy and robotics industries.

Requirements

  • Current PhD or MSc studies in machine learning, computer vision and graphics, or robotics.
  • Strong research background in relevant topics.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively on projects.
  • Passion for next-generation, scalable autonomy and robotics.
  • Interest in reinforcement learning and adjacent research areas such as reward learning and imitative behavior learning.
  • Experience or familiarity with research publication workflows for top-tier conferences (preferred).
