Description

  • Build the infrastructure to reproduce and adapt state-of-the-art research within 4–6 week cycles.
  • Develop attack-agnostic biometric defenses using optical flow, specular reflection, and 3D geometry.
  • Implement domain adaptation and generalization methods to reduce performance differences across devices, demographics, and environmental conditions.
  • Write high-performance, maintainable Python code for cost-efficient, latency-optimized computer vision models.
  • Prototype solutions from first principles to determine when to use new architectures versus better data curation or attack generation.
  • Bridge theoretical computer vision research and production code for identity verification systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in applied research or data science.
  • Proven track record of moving complex computer vision models from paper to production.
  • Expert-level experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow, including custom layers, loss functions, and domain-adversarial training loops.
  • Strong background in classical image processing with OpenCV and 3D geometry.
  • Proficient in Python, Bash, and SQL.
  • Comfortable building data pipelines and debugging containerized services.
  • Treats inference latency and compute cost as first-class constraints.
  • Skeptical, evidence-driven approach to evaluating SOTA claims and failure modes.
