Description

  • Lead and scale a customer-facing AI/ML professional services team through hiring, mentoring, and team design.
  • Build and maintain executive relationships with senior customer and partner stakeholders, including VP-, CIO-, and CDO-level leaders.
  • Align with Field Engineering and Sales leaders on strategies for strategic accounts and delivery coordination.
  • Lead strategic AI professional services initiatives, practice development, and standardized delivery processes.
  • Design scalable engagement models and reusable solutions to improve repeatability across the global team.
  • Influence Product, Research and Development, and go-to-market teams with customer insights and delivery learnings.
  • Own OKRs for AI-services-led accounts, revenue, utilization, and public references.
  • Represent Databricks as a thought leader in AI and machine learning.
  • Scope, guide, and support technical engagements while managing escalations in enterprise environments.
  • Drive customer AI transformation efforts, including organizational change management and stakeholder alignment.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience managing, hiring, and building high-performing data science and machine learning engineering teams.
  • Track record of scaling organizations by developing scalable processes and cultivating leaders.
  • Ability to scope, guide, and sell technical engagements and ensure successful delivery in enterprise environments.
  • Deep technical expertise in machine learning, GenAI, and data science.
  • Experience leading teams building production machine learning solutions in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Proven success partnering with senior executive stakeholders to define program goals, align technical vision, and build trust.
  • Experience driving AI transformation strategy, including product management for applied AI projects and organizational change management.
  • Demonstrated cross-functional leadership experience working with Sales, Product, and GTM teams.
  • Company-first mindset.
  • Preferred: customer-facing consulting or professional services leadership experience.
  • Preferred: experience working with Databricks.

  • Competitive local pay range of $232,900 to $320,200 USD.
