Description

Serve as the strategic HR partner to the Regional General Manager on people matters and regional growth priorities.
Meet regularly with field leadership to identify business needs, trends, team dynamics, challenges, and opportunities.
Partner with cross-functional leaders to improve HR and operational compliance.
Act as the regional point of contact for employee relations, including disciplinary actions, performance management guidance, and policy enforcement.
Conduct timely employee relations investigations and recommend outcomes aligned with company standards.
Develop expertise in state and local employment laws and escalate issues for legal support when needed.
Support employee development through onboarding, training, workforce planning, succession planning, and career development programs.
Participate in recruiting for field management roles, including first-round interviews and interview panels as needed.
Manage the employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, job changes, promotions, relocations, leaves of absence, and exits.
Analyze HR metrics, exit interview trends, and engagement insights to inform retention and continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

3+ years of human resources or equivalent experience, preferably in a multi-state organization.
BA/BS degree, preferably in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.
PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
Experience in retail or service-based environments preferred.
Strong experience with employee relations and difficult employment matters.
Excellent judgment, executive presence, confidentiality, honesty, integrity, and discretion.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and maintain attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work independently as well as collaboratively.
Proficiency with Google Docs, Microsoft Office Suite, or related software.

$90,000 to $110,000 annual salary.
