Description

  • Advise managers and teams on performance, organizational design, workforce planning, and people strategy.
  • Support employees with day-to-day questions, concerns, and employee relations matters.
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding, including systems setup, orientation, check-ins, and international processes.
  • Support benefits administration, leave tracking, and communications across the US and Canada.
  • Maintain accurate employee data and reporting in Rippling.
  • Manage international employment processes through Deel, including compliance and payroll coordination.
  • Maintain People policies, handbooks, guides, and process documentation.
  • Support engagement surveys, company events, leadership development, and manager enablement programs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve employee experience and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in People Operations or HR coordination, preferably in a scaling remote startup of 150–300 employees.
  • Experience partnering with managers on employee relations, performance, organizational changes, and related people matters.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms; Rippling experience is relevant.
  • Experience managing international employment processes; Deel experience is relevant.
  • Strong empathy, approachability, and culture-building skills.
  • Creative, resourceful, and proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Clear, adaptable, concise, and tactful communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize shifting workloads, triage issues, remain calm under pressure, and take ownership.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and commitment to high-quality work.
