Description

  • Own and sequence the 24-month content roadmap for the Potential & Placement portfolio.
  • Lead discovery and blueprint strategy for Iowa Assessments and other portfolio products.
  • Investigate emerging placement measures and develop business cases for roadmap additions.
  • Define requirements for new content integrations with the Platform Product Management team.
  • Oversee CogAT assessment builds and new-version launch materials.
  • Own QA/UAT processes and documentation accuracy for customer-facing content integrations.
  • Serve as product owner for content workstreams, sprint planning, and backlog refinement.
  • Manage relationships with CogAT, Iowa, and easyCBM author groups.
  • Partner with Research, Reach, and Product leadership to incorporate customer insights into product requirements and roadmaps.
  • Monitor usage data and customer findings to define current and future product use cases.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of product management experience in assessment, K–12 education, content-driven, or regulated environments.
  • Experience working as a K–12 district or school coordinator or administrator.
  • Experience taking a content roadmap from market discovery through business case, execution, and launch.
  • Experience managing external author or partner relationships and translating subject-matter expertise into product requirements.
  • Experience owning content and documentation QA for accurate, compliant customer-facing releases.
  • Ability to build and present business cases and roadmap recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience making assessment or student placement decisions in a K–12 setting (preferred).
  • Understanding of psychometric or assessment design principles, including norming, scoring, and administration fidelity (preferred).
  • Knowledge of FERPA, COPPA, or other student-data compliance requirements (preferred).
