Description

  • Set and champion a multi-year product vision for Atlas Infinite, including opportunities enabled by disaggregated compute and storage.
  • Discover unmet customer needs, test hypotheses, and identify product opportunities beyond the existing roadmap.
  • Coordinate execution across engineering, product, migration, backup, security, storage, and cloud infrastructure teams.
  • Drive preview-to-GA readiness, roadmap alignment, dependency management, and cross-team trade-offs.
  • Establish shared standards for workload qualification, customer research, launch readiness, win/loss analysis, and post-launch learning.
  • Resolve complex product-health issues spanning architecture, performance, migration, observability, supportability, and ownership.
  • Partner with marketing, pricing, sales, solutions architecture, customer success, documentation, and support on positioning and go-to-market efforts.
  • Synthesize customer, technical, adoption, and commercial evidence for executive stakeholders.
  • Mentor product managers on customer discovery, technical trade-offs, cross-team alignment, and leadership communication.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product management or equivalent product leadership experience shaping strategy and outcomes for complex technical platforms.
  • Technical fluency in cloud databases, distributed data systems, storage infrastructure, developer experiences, or adjacent developer platforms.
  • Ability to reason with engineers about architecture, performance, availability, data movement, and technical trade-offs.
  • Demonstrated ability to discover opportunities beyond the current roadmap and adapt direction based on evidence.
  • Experience taking products from early adoption toward dependable, broader use while balancing trust, readiness, speed, and investment.
  • Proven ability to influence without authority and negotiate priorities, sequencing, and resources across teams.
  • Commercial and analytical judgment involving workload value, adoption, competition, pricing, unit economics, and build-versus-buy decisions.
  • Ability to improve customer discovery and product decision-making through shared methods and mentorship.
  • Exceptional communication skills across engineering, customer, executive, and go-to-market audiences.
  • Experience with enterprise product development and complex cloud database platforms is preferred.
