Description

  • Generate new revenue with new and existing accounts in partnership with sales and client management teams.
  • Support technical and functional discovery for retailer and brand solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proofs of concept, strategic recommendations, and product demonstrations.
  • Evaluate client business goals and integration requirements and recommend effective strategies.
  • Create ROI analyses, revenue and cost forecasts, and respond to RFI and RFP requests.
  • Communicate market and client feedback to product management and services teams.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure a smooth handoff to service teams with clear documentation of goals and requirements.
  • Support presales engagements with clients, technical teams, and C-level executives.
  • Synthesize client feedback, competitive intelligence, and industry information to improve product and service delivery.
  • Act as a trusted expert resource for clients, peers, and coworkers.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of presales experience focused on consultative sales of enterprise software and services.
  • Experience supporting teams closing six-figure contracts against seven-figure targets.
  • Understanding of client challenges within the retail and/or e-commerce industries.
  • Knowledge of the retail partner ecosystem, including marketplaces.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or discipline preferred.
  • Technical working knowledge of API integrations, including REST and SOAP, preferred.
  • Experience with online retail or brand-focused solutions preferred.
  • Familiarity with common enterprise back-end system solutions, configurations, and core requirements preferred.
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including boardroom presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.

  • Expected base salary of $100,000-$145,000 per year.
  • Expected sales incentive range of $38,571-$68,357.
