Description

  • Develop a deep understanding of customer business drivers and decision-making criteria.
  • Translate Everpure and ecosystem technologies into measurable customer business outcomes.
  • Partner with account managers, specialists, and channel partners to support revenue growth and new business development.
  • Provide technical leadership and domain expertise across storage products, distributed storage architectures, file systems, and competitive offerings.
  • Lead customer evaluations, benchmarks, and system configurations.
  • Build and deliver technical product and architecture presentations to customers and prospects.
  • Capture requirements and translate customer business needs into solution designs.
  • Identify and support interoperability, functional, and performance testing and validation opportunities.
  • Collaborate with product and technical marketing to create materials such as whitepapers and web presentations.
  • Stay current on competition, market trends, and solution positioning.
  • Lead by example in alignment with the company's values.

Requirements

  • Pre-sales experience is required.
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience across technology, design, and communications.
  • Experience supporting sales of enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software to enterprise accounts is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of architecture, design, and implementation of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solutions.
  • Familiarity with modern web architecture, including LAMP stack, scale-out vs. scale-up architectures, AWS Well-Architected Framework, and microservices architecture, is a plus.
  • Experience targeting new prospects and converting them into clients.
  • Experience contributing significant portions of, or leading, responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
  • Strong knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures, including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, and SAN.
  • Previous experience with Linux, NFS file systems, and Linux distributed network environments.
  • Knowledge of distributed computing, multiprocessing, virtual memory, storage subsystems, shared memory, cache architectures, and windowing systems.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud-native transformation, on-premises environments, public cloud, provisioning automation, and containers.
  • Knowledge of VMware, local area networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, containers, Kubernetes, and microservices architectures is a plus.
  • Familiarity with storage-intensive applications such as SQL and Oracle is highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills.
