Description

  • Provide guidance on system architecture decisions to align technical direction with business goals.
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior developers.
  • Support and develop junior and mid-level engineers through feedback, knowledge sharing, and technical guidance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software projects and align on requirements.
  • Break down complex work into manageable tasks and help distribute them across the team.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and task prioritization.
  • Communicate with product managers, designers, clients, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and maintain alignment.
  • Tackle complex technical issues, including debugging and resolving problems beyond junior-level scope.
  • Integrate AI tools across the development lifecycle with attention to security, performance, and maintainability.
  • Build and maintain AI API integrations, automate workflows in CI/CD pipelines, and establish team best practices for AI usage.
  • Apply compliance standards to AI implementations and participate in the on-call rotation.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience developing in Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, or Node.js.
  • 3+ years of experience developing with AWS technologies.
  • 2+ years of experience integrating AI tools into production software development workflows.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining AI API integrations in production systems.
  • Experience automating workflows with AI tools and measuring productivity impact.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor others on AI development practices.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards relevant to AI implementations, including data privacy and security.
  • Experience developing web applications, working with databases, and consuming APIs.
  • Understanding of software development tools such as version control, build processes, debuggers, and test frameworks.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a closely related field (preferred).
  • 2+ years of AI/ML experience with expertise in machine learning algorithms, NLP, computer vision, or large-scale deployment (preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience creating data systems for feature stores or vector databases (preferred).
  • Experience with cloud computing infrastructures such as AWS or Azure (preferred).
  • Experience using source code repositories such as Azure DevOps and Git (preferred).
  • Experience working with SQL Server and NoSQL databases (preferred).
  • Experience with performance tuning and optimization for high-scale systems (preferred).
  • Experience working with development teams across multiple time zones (preferred).
  • Experience in e-commerce, retail, online marketplaces, or digital advertising (preferred).
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment with strong attention to detail (preferred).
