Description

  • Define and execute a North America field events plan that supports brand visibility and measurable business goals.
  • Develop and run localized marketing strategies to generate demand, leads, and pipeline in targeted regions.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver aligned events and marketing programs.
  • Plan and execute a range of events, including executive dinners, trade shows, conferences, and multi-city roadshows.
  • Own event execution, including budgeting, logistics, vendor management, pre- and post-event marketing, and post-event analysis.
  • Track attendance, leads, opportunities, pipeline, and client feedback to evaluate event performance.
  • Present event metrics, KPIs, and actionable insights to stakeholders to support continuous improvement.
  • Use websites, online content, industry trends, and emerging technologies to improve client experience and event effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in field or corporate events management within a technology, software, or e-commerce organization.
  • Experience in events and field marketing within the e-commerce sector, with a focus on engaging e-commerce audiences.
  • Experience leading and executing industry events similar to Shoptalk, NRF, or eTail.
  • Proven ownership and management of event budgets across different scales and complexity.
  • Experience planning events with clearly defined budgets, objectives, and measurable KPIs.
  • Strong understanding of core marketing metrics and how to use them to measure event success and field marketing impact.
  • Experience with event management tools and platforms such as Asana, Marketo, Cvent, Salesforce, HubSpot, and virtual event platforms.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail and deadline management.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with senior cross-functional stakeholders, including Sales and Client Success.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience supporting events across North America in diverse industries and market segments preferred.
  • Experience working directly with sales to drive measurable results preferred.
  • Preferably based on the U.S. East Coast for collaboration with a global field marketing team.
  • Travel required: 25%–40%.

  • Base salary range of $100,000 to $145,000 per year.
