Description

  • Work with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and develop effective job descriptions.
  • Implement sourcing strategies to attract candidates through multiple channels and networks.
  • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates for qualifications and culture fit.
  • Manage the recruitment process from job posting through offer negotiations and pre-employment requirements.
  • Use applicant tracking systems to maintain candidate records and recruitment metrics.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies when needed.
  • Participate in job fairs, recruitment events, and networking opportunities to promote the employer brand.
  • Support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Conduct salary negotiations and prepare offer letters.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics, analyze hiring effectiveness, and recommend improvements.
  • Support succession planning by identifying high-potential internal and external talent for critical roles.
  • Conduct talent market research to inform workforce planning in new and emerging markets.
  • Provide strategic insights to leadership on talent availability and labor market trends relevant to business expansion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruiting roles.
  • Experience in construction, project management, or renewable energy industries in the US and Canada is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment strategies and sourcing techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of labor market trends and employment laws.
  • Must complete pre-employment screening, including professional reference checks and a criminal record check.
