Description

  • Perform forensic delay analysis on construction project schedules and prepare written reports documenting findings.
  • Analyze contract issues, change orders, cost overruns, and quantum-related matters on construction claims and disputes.
  • Conduct forensic analysis of delay damages, loss of productivity, and other complex construction claims.
  • Research and analyze contemporaneous project documentation to support claim evaluation and reporting.
  • Manage multiple projects and coordinate with internal support team members to deliver client reports on time.
  • Work with insurance carriers, law firms, owners, developers, and contractors on dispute-related assignments.
  • Conduct site visits and prepare site reports based on construction project observations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external disciplines, including consultants and architects, on project analysis.
  • Support testimony preparation and related dispute-resolution work when needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management.
  • 5–7+ years of experience performing CPM scheduling and cost analysis work.
  • Experience analyzing construction claim damages, including delay damages.
  • Knowledge of architecture, civil, structural, MEP, and building enclosure systems for commercial, retail, and high-rise residential buildings.
  • Proficiency in P6 scheduling software.
  • Experience with MS Project and Asta.
  • Proficiency in third-party schedule analysis software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including PowerBI, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Outlook, Word, and BlueBeam.
  • Experience coordinating internally and externally with consultants and architects.
  • Experience conducting construction site inspections and preparing site reports.
  • Testifying experience is a plus; candidates without it may be trained.
  • Experience with estimating software is preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%, including some overnight and out-of-area travel.
