Description

  • Act as the primary delivery point of contact for migration clients, managing expectations, scope, risks, and escalation.
  • Lead internal and external status calls to communicate project progress, risks, and next steps to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Partner with clients to align migration phases, timelines, and success criteria to business objectives.
  • Schedule and lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and ongoing pulse checks.
  • Lead AWS migration projects across discovery, planning, execution, cutover, and post-migration stabilization.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Architects and Engineers on migration strategy, dependency mapping, sequencing, cutover planning, and rollback strategies.
  • Participate directly in backlog refinement, estimation, and delivery planning for migration workstreams.
  • Ensure architectural decisions made during pre-sales are correctly executed during delivery.
  • Identify technical and delivery risks early and drive resolution without waiting for escalation.
  • Oversee team allocation and project assignments across migration projects while coordinating distributed cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in delivery leadership, engineering leadership, consulting, or technical project ownership.
  • Hands-on experience delivering cloud migrations or large-scale modernization initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure fundamentals, including networking, compute, storage, and IAM.
  • Full lifecycle delivery experience using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Proven ability to simplify complex technical problems and lead teams through ambiguity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, proactively, and with a team-first mindset.
  • AWS certifications, such as Solutions Architect Associate or Professional, are preferred.
  • Experience in regulated environments such as HIPAA, SOC 2, or PCI is preferred.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar delivery tooling is preferred.
  • Consulting or professional services background is preferred.
  • Spanish as a second language is preferred.
