Description

  • Own the end-to-end event strategy aligned with marketing and business objectives.
  • Design the full event journey, including pre-event demand generation, on-site experience, and post-event sales follow-up.
  • Manage a portfolio of field and event programs such as trade shows, conferences, executive summits, SKOs, and flagship customer events.
  • Track event performance metrics and recommend improvements to strategy, spend, and ROI.
  • Manage and mentor the events team, including task prioritization, training, and professional development.
  • Collaborate with sales, sales enablement, product, creative, content, and marketing operations stakeholders to align execution and handoffs.
  • Ensure event execution follows brand guidelines and drives meaningful engagement.
  • Own and evolve event SOPs to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Manage the field and event marketing budget, including forecasting and tracking actual spend.
  • Support vendor coordination, evaluation, selection, and contract negotiations for event-related vendors and agencies.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience in B2B marketing and demand generation.
  • 6-8 years of marketing experience, with a focus on field and events marketing.
  • Proven experience managing a team and delivering successful events.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members to high performance.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and budgets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences and stakeholders.
  • Ability to think strategically and frame events as revenue-generating programs.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to bring innovative ideas to event and field marketing strategies.
  • Proficiency in analyzing data and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
  • Experience with CRM-based event data flow and lead-to-pipeline tracking (preferred).
