Description

  • Strategically plan and meet or exceed assigned sales quota.
  • Prospect proactively and build a healthy opportunity pipeline within the territory to grow revenues.
  • Manage and build relationships with key decision-makers in information security and technology departments at Fortune 500 and enterprise customers.
  • Upsell and expand revenue within the existing installed base.
  • Build out the territory and drive both direct and indirect sales through partner organizations and channel representatives.
  • Manage indirect deals in coordination with the partner team to improve deal flow and close business.
  • Structure and execute sustained prospecting activities by organizing daily/weekly workflows.
  • Work cross-functionally with finance, sales operations, sales enablement, marketing, sales engineering and legal to advance opportunities to forecasted close dates.
  • Manage sales opportunities from prospecting through closure and maintain accurate forecasts in Salesforce.com.

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of overall experience (or 5+ years successful experience selling security software) with prior enterprise selling experience targeting enterprise logos.
  • Background in SOAR and SIEM technologies and prior experience selling security orchestration platforms and SIEM solutions into SOCs.
  • Prior startup experience is required to succeed in this role.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage sales opportunities end-to-end and accurately forecast using Salesforce.com.
  • Extensive contacts in the information security field and a proven ability to build enterprise relationships.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks and work in a fast-paced, geographically dispersed organization.
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 30%.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) preferred.
  • Experience working with channel/partner organizations and managing indirect sales processes.
