Description

  • Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, trade organizations, and relevant industry groups across multiple trades.
  • Recruit contractors into the multifamily program based on program needs and priorities.
  • Work with subcontractor partners to execute the program delivery strategy and support achievement of program goals.
  • Monitor program participation and adjust contractor recruitment strategy to improve participation and results.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to contractors on program updates, submission deadlines, safety, and related issues.
  • Lead meetings and calls with internal teams and partners to address contractor recruitment, issue resolution, successes, challenges, and support needs.
  • Deliver presentations and communicate program offerings to a variety of stakeholders with tailored messaging.
  • Support multifamily customers by helping deliver HVAC, lighting, water heating, and other energy-saving measures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in contractor or trades management.
  • Previous management experience in training and recruitment.
  • Proven success engaging contractors, unions, subcontractors, and trade organizations.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and set expectations and guidelines with disparate trades.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
  • New Jersey residency required.
  • Technical acumen regarding energy efficiency measures and contractor capabilities preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.
  • Client-centered and customer service-focused approach.
  • Experience in recruitment and network management.
  • Detail-oriented, self-directed, and able to multitask.
  • Positive, action-oriented attitude with initiative and creativity.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills, including speaking and writing.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $80,000 to $126,000.
  • Eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.
