Description

  • Secure new revenue with electric and gas utilities across the Northeastern United States.
  • Achieve annual sales quota goals and support company bookings targets.
  • Develop and execute integrated business development and sales strategies, including strategic account plans.
  • Expand energy efficiency, demand response, and other distributed energy resource services with new and existing utility clients.
  • Partner with delivery, operations, regulatory, and subject matter expert teams to create customized client solutions.
  • Serve as a client advocate to support customer satisfaction and fulfill the company's brand promise.
  • Identify client and market needs and help create new solutions and product offerings.
  • Lead proposal development efforts, including guidance on positioning, approach, and pricing.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, strategic partners, contractors, and utility decision-makers.
  • Support project launch and transition clients to implementation teams while contributing to process improvements.

Requirements

  • Must be located in the Northeastern United States.
  • Approximately 50% regional travel across a multi-state sales territory is required.
  • Availability to attend 4–5 annual events, including two internal sales meetings and up to two national industry conferences.
  • 8+ years of experience working with and selling to electric and gas utilities.
  • Experience selling Demand Side Management (DSM) programs and/or renewables to utilities.
  • Proven understanding of state regulatory cycles related to utility DSM programs.
  • Experience with energy efficiency, demand response, transportation electrification, electric vehicles, building electrification, and/or solar programs.
  • Established mid- and senior-level relationships with electric and gas utilities throughout the Northeast region.
  • Bachelor's degree from a 4-year accredited college or university.
  • Interest in sustainability and a passion for making a meaningful environmental impact.

  • Base salary range of $155,000-$175,000 plus commission.
