Description

  • Translate high-level product ideas into clear, structured requirements.
  • Clarify requirements and own the shaping of production-ready solutions.
  • Propose solution options with tradeoffs, including non-functional requirements and edge cases.
  • Work closely with Product to define what can be built and how.
  • Collaborate with Engineers early to align on technical approach and reduce back-and-forth clarification.
  • Ensure solutions align with engineering best practices and system design constraints.
  • Partner with Engineering Managers to help drive features through to production.
  • Balance business goals, technical feasibility, and non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Requirements

  • Fintech or banking domain experience is strongly preferred, especially in high-integrity systems such as payments, onboarding, or internal platforms.
  • A proactive, ownership-driven approach rather than a passive documentation mindset.
  • Ability to think in systems and understand how engineering teams work.
  • Experience driving complex cross-functional workstreams from idea to delivery.
  • Strong ability to handle technical and non-functional requirements.
  • Experience ensuring performance, security, and scalability requirements are addressed.
  • Comfort working with Product and Engineering stakeholders to align on solution design.
  • Experience in fast-paced environments is an advantage.
