Description

  • Manage end-to-end voluntary and involuntary employee exits across multiple international jurisdictions.
  • Advise clients on terminations, resignations, transfers, employment contracts, redundancies, and related HR processes.
  • Lead consultation meetings, administrative hearings, separation negotiations, settlement discussions, and termination communications.
  • Negotiate complex termination outcomes while balancing competing stakeholder interests.
  • Coordinate with payroll, legal counsel, government bodies, trade unions, and internal teams to ensure compliant offboarding.
  • Draft and administer termination documents while maintaining accurate, confidential employee records.
  • Process offboarding activities in Remote’s HRIS and coordinate timely completion across internal departments.
  • Provide subject-matter expertise and respond to internal and external offboarding queries.
  • Assess workplace concerns, apply relevant regulations, and coordinate employee relations support and resources.
  • Identify and implement improvements in offboarding, employee relations, automation, product development, and customer experience.

Requirements

  • Experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner with generalist HR expertise across the employee lifecycle.
  • Strong experience managing voluntary and involuntary terminations with sensitivity, legal compliance, and knowledge of employment regulations across jurisdictions.
  • Ability to interpret industrial instruments, research complex HR issues, and provide practical recommendations in ambiguous situations.
  • Basic understanding of employee relations, progressive discipline, and workplace investigation principles.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills, including leading difficult conversations confidentially.
  • Advanced written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify process optimization and automation opportunities, including strong automation, AI capabilities, and AI fluency.
  • Strong operational discipline, record-keeping, and data-integrity awareness.
  • Tech-savvy and able to collaborate asynchronously using evolving tools and systems.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced international remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and work flexible hours as needed.
