Description

  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients and provide legal, human resources, and advisory support.
  • Partner closely with Operations teams to ensure seamless collaboration and high-quality client outcomes.
  • Lead and manage a team of Employee Lifecycle Specialists through coaching, mentorship, and performance guidance.
  • Oversee voluntary and non-voluntary terminations across multiple countries, including complex and sensitive cases.
  • Guide the team in delivering first-level employee relations support to clients.
  • Personally manage and advise on complex employee lifecycle and employee relations cases.
  • Champion a client-centric approach and continuously raise standards for quality, consistency, and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Experience in Human Resources, Operations, and/or Employee Relations roles, including experience as a People Manager.
  • Advanced expertise across HR areas such as business partnering, employee relations, performance management, and local employment laws.
  • Demonstrated experience with global HR practices, employment laws, and regulations across multiple countries.
  • Significant exposure to complex involuntary employee exits and employee relations matters.
  • Understanding of progressive discipline processes, workplace investigation principles, and employee relations resource coordination.
  • Proven ability to lead team engagement and deliver goals through communication, influencing, and relationship-building in a culturally diverse, distributed team.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, analytical, and written communication skills.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to build trust and influence senior leaders, managers, clients, and employees at all levels.
  • High levels of discretion, integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • An agile, resilient, customer-centered approach with comfort working in a dynamic, ambiguous environment.
  • Cultural awareness and experience leading a culturally diverse team; ability to adapt to different cultural norms.
  • Exposure to a startup environment and comfort working largely asynchronously.
  • Tertiary degree in HR, labour relations, or employment law preferred.
