Description

  • Serve as an expert on Time & Attendance matters and support complex projects related to employment law changes and Collective Bargaining Agreement updates.
  • Manage employee lifecycle leave and working-hours cases, including Family Leave, Sick Leave, Time Tracking, Public Holidays, and Working Time.
  • Advise clients and employees on employment legislation, labor law interpretations, and employment agreement terms.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including payroll, legal counsel, and government bodies, to ensure compliance.
  • Support HR and financial audits and critical initiatives affecting employees across multiple countries.
  • Develop and update internal documentation on Time & Attendance in response to legislative changes.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries on employment matters in collaboration with Lifecycle stakeholders.
  • Identify and contribute to process improvements, automation, product development, and better employee/customer experiences.
  • Safely manage employee data and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Promote Remote’s values and support the Lifecycle team’s goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing employee lifecycle events with care, sensitivity, and legal compliance.
  • Experience providing HR support and guidance on employment laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to lead difficult conversations professionally and confidentially.
  • Advanced business-level written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Aptitude and enthusiasm for process innovation, automation, and best practices.
  • Strong operational efficiency, with attention to documentation quality and data integrity.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, asynchronous, remote international environment.
  • Comfort using tools such as Notion, Slack, Zendesk, and G-suite.
  • Enthusiasm for AI and a foundational understanding of its practical applications in operations and automation.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
