Description

  • Own the instructional design lifecycle from needs analysis through development and evaluation using frameworks such as ADDIE, SAM, and Bloom's Taxonomy.
  • Translate SME input and learning objectives into eLearning, simulations, scenario-based exercises, hands-on labs, video, and documentation.
  • Structure content into modular lessons with knowledge checks, assessments, and actionable feedback.
  • Use AI tools to transform reference materials and raw SME input into accurate, instructionally sound learning assets.
  • Lead action mapping exercises and create detailed storyboards that define instructional flow, interactivity, and asset requirements.
  • Partner with Content Developers to support production in Articulate Rise, Storyline, Camtasia, and Review 360.
  • Coordinate with SMEs and stakeholders to gather content, validate accuracy, and align on scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Work within Jira, Google Drive, and authoring-tool workflows while maintaining team standards, naming conventions, and file structures.
  • Perform LMS administration within Redwood University to support content organization, updates, and system accuracy.
  • Facilitate review cycles, track feedback, and update learning content based on product changes and learner feedback.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or a related field.
  • Experience with eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Rise, Storyline, and Camtasia.
  • Ability to structure and organize complex information into clear, learner-friendly content.
  • Experience creating storyboards and instructional design documentation.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools professionally for content creation, research, or productivity workflows.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Experience designing training for SaaS, enterprise software, or technical products is preferred.
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms and SCORM-based content delivery is preferred.
  • Experience working within structured content development workflows such as Jira-based project tracking is preferred.
  • Exposure to action mapping or performance-based learning design is preferred.
  • Familiarity with learning analytics and assessment design best practices is preferred.
