Description

  • Write educational content including video scripts, assessments and text lessons.
  • Turn curriculum documents into practical course and lesson plans.
  • Break down complex VCE Mathematics syllabus points into clear student-friendly content.
  • Keep subject knowledge current by staying up to date with content and evidence-based teaching strategies.
  • Follow style guides to ensure content is consistent and audience-appropriate.
  • Manage multiple projects, time commitments and tight deadlines.
  • Collaborate with Visual Content Designers, Subject Team Leads and other stakeholders.
  • Share ideas and contribute to process improvements through feedback, workshops and team discussions.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of secondary school VCE Mathematics.
  • VCE experience is required.
  • Previous experience with the VCE curriculum is required.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Strong understanding of effective student learning content.
  • Passion for education and learning design.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively and explaining your thinking clearly.
  • Confidence using project management tools, or willingness to learn them.
  • Demonstrated success in the VCE curriculum as a teacher or student.
  • Teaching or tutoring experience is a bonus.
  • Interest in learning design is preferred, with training provided for those new to it.
  • Must hold Australian working rights.
