Description

  • Design and implement AWS IoT Core solutions for secure device onboarding, connectivity, identity, fleet management, and tenant isolation.
  • Develop and deploy AWS IoT Greengrass v2 components for Java nucleus, nucleus lite, and resource-constrained devices.
  • Build, test, and deploy Amazon Bedrock AI applications, including RAG systems, AI agents, prompt workflows, and structured extraction solutions.
  • Develop Python services and APIs that integrate AI capabilities with customer applications, databases, and enterprise data sources.
  • Create evaluation datasets and automated tests to validate AI accuracy, grounding, extraction quality, and agent task completion before release.
  • Implement AI security controls using Bedrock Guardrails, IAM, encryption, data-access controls, output validation, and prompt-injection protections.
  • Build embedded Linux agents in Python and C/C++, create Yocto board images, and package software for Arm and other embedded targets.
  • Implement secure OTA update pipelines with signed manifests, staged rollouts, health checks, rollback, recovery, and anti-rollback controls.
  • Manage AWS IoT Jobs and thing groups, including rollout rates, retries, abort thresholds, and deployment status.
  • Build MQTT telemetry pipelines and test device fleets using simulators and physical development boards to diagnose connectivity, update, security, and performance issues.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in IoT, embedded software, cloud engineering, or a related role with hands-on responsibility for production systems.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering AWS-connected device solutions across embedded Linux development, secure device lifecycle management, cloud integration, and production operations.
  • Strong Python and software engineering skills, including API development, automated testing, debugging, code review, and maintainable application design.
  • Experience with AWS IoT Device Management and AWS IoT Device Defender, including fleet indexing, secure tunneling, and audit checks.
  • Experience designing multi-tenant AWS backend workflows using Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, DynamoDB, and tenant-scoped IAM and IoT policies.
  • Practical experience with Amazon Bedrock, RAG, embeddings, vector stores, retrieval quality, and grounding enterprise-data responses.
  • Experience building AI agent workflows and tool integrations with schema validation, controlled execution, error handling, and external-system integration.
  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Experience with Hailo AI accelerators, Microchip PolarFire SoC, TPMs or secure elements, FPGA deployment, EU Cyber Resilience Act requirements, or IoT platform migrations is preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 5% annually.
