Description

  • Lead multi-team healthcare AI programs from discovery and use-case definition through implementation, validation, launch, and operational transition.
  • Partner with clinical, operational, IT, security, executive, and customer stakeholders to understand workflows, data environments, constraints, and success measures.
  • Translate ambiguous customer needs into program scope, requirements, milestones, ownership, dependencies, decision points, and exit criteria.
  • Coordinate delivery across product, engineering, AI/ML, infrastructure, security, legal, compliance, and customer teams.
  • Maintain the authoritative source of truth for plans, risks, decisions, dependencies, validation, launch readiness, and commitments.
  • Manage dependencies involving EHRs, APIs, identity and access management, clinical protocols, data access, infrastructure, and third-party systems.
  • Drive healthcare AI governance, including risk classification, validation planning, audit evidence, approvals, and production sign-off.
  • Define phased validation and rollout plans with quality, safety, privacy, reliability, observability, and rollback criteria.
  • Lead customer reviews, executive readouts, technical sessions, governance reviews, and go-live assessments.
  • Create reusable healthcare implementation playbooks, onboarding checklists, validation standards, templates, and program-management practices.
  • Resolve cross-program conflicts, capacity constraints, and sequencing decisions while coaching other program managers. 

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in technical program management, product delivery, engineering program management, healthcare implementation, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex cross-functional software or platform programs from ambiguous discovery through production adoption.
  • Experience delivering technology in healthcare, life sciences, or another highly regulated environment involving sensitive data and formal approvals.
  • Experience working directly with enterprise customers, engineers, product leaders, executives, operational teams, and domain experts.
  • Strong technical fluency in software architecture, APIs, integrations, data flows, cloud infrastructure, identity, security, testing, deployment, and operations.
  • Experience managing external dependencies, long approval cycles, customer-controlled systems, and competing priorities.
  • Ability to influence decisions and drive accountability without direct authority, while balancing delivery speed, quality, security, compliance, and maintainability.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, including executive reporting, decision documentation, risk framing, and customer facilitation.
  • Willingness to travel periodically to customer locations.
  • Preferred: Experience with health systems, EHR integrations such as Epic or Oracle Health/Cerner, and interoperability standards including FHIR, SMART on FHIR, HL7 v2, or CDS Hooks.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with healthcare privacy and security requirements, AI governance, model validation, human-in-the-loop workflows, LLM applications, RAG, Kubernetes, and AWS, Azure, or GCP.
