Description

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients, providing status updates, responding to queries, and sharing recommendations.
  • Manage client expectations around timelines, scope, and project planning.
  • Take client briefs and communicate them clearly to internal team members.
  • Own the day-to-day management of the account, including internal meetings, workflow, delegation, and tracking overall account status.
  • Oversee medium and large client projects to ensure delivery on time, on budget, and to the required standard.
  • Communicate regularly with the account lead about project progress, risks, barriers, and proposed solutions.
  • Maintain awareness of the client’s business priorities, program strategy, and competitor activity.
  • Track trends and developments in medical communications and the pharma industry.
  • Identify growth opportunities and contribute ideas for program evolution and new tactics.
  • Support new business efforts through research, credentials, pitch materials, and presentations.
  • Maintain understanding of account finances and support financial management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of prior experience in healthcare agency client services roles.
  • Experience in medical affairs, publications, and/or medical information required.
  • BA or equivalent work experience required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively while taking ownership of assets and material development.
  • Professional client service presence with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to manage upward and communicate risks or missed deadlines proactively.
  • Strong work ethic with a track record of delivering high-quality work on schedule and on budget.
  • Competence with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience developing client relationships and networking.
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of project and account objectives.
  • Ability to devise and communicate solutions to problems.
  • Veeva management and/or iEnvision experience recommended but not required.
  • Adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Willingness to work hybrid, with two days per week in-office for employees within an hour of an office, or remotely within the US depending on team and business needs.
