Description

  • Master protocols, applications, and troubleshooting procedures for Quantum-Si products.
  • Lead technical discussions in pre-sales meetings and communicate product and application details to customers.
  • Conduct customer seminars, present technical datasets, and prepare demo reports.
  • Identify customer needs and develop experimental plans and product-based solutions for evaluations.
  • Manage onsite and remote customer onboarding and training for instruments, software, reagents, and workflows.
  • Drive utilization of the installed instrument base through customer project plans and collaboration with sales.
  • Manage technical support cases through Salesforce, including email, phone, and site visits.
  • Troubleshoot instrument, software, kit, and application issues; escalate or initiate repairs as needed.
  • Support tradeshows, customer advocacy, technical collateral development, product messaging, and application requests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, biology, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree or PhD preferred; alternatively, 5+ years of laboratory experience.
  • Prior technical support experience or laboratory experience with a technical support component.
  • Experience in proteomics, protein biology, or mass spectrometry.
  • Theoretical or technical background in cell biology, biochemistry, and/or next-generation sequencing.
  • Excellent written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to take initiative with an entrepreneurial work ethic.
  • Based in San Francisco, San Diego, or surrounding areas.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%, approximately three weeks per month; responsible for scheduling approved site visits.

Benefits

  • Estimated base salary of $140,000–$170,000.
  • Eligibility for a discretionary bonus program.
  • Equity included in the compensation package.
