Description

  • Analyze English-language CAD models, 3D models, technical drawings, and RFQs.
  • Calculate manufacturing costs for materials, machining time, and post-processing.
  • Assess manufacturability and provide DFM and process recommendations.
  • Document and transfer pricing calculations to Sales and Commercial teams.
  • Clarify RFQ details with Sales and Engineering teams.
  • Maintain quote databases and ensure timely updates.
  • Deliver accurate quotes, ideally within 1–2 working hours.
  • Support process automation and workflow optimization initiatives.

Requirements

  • Higher technical education in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in metalworking or mechanical engineering.
  • Expertise in turning, milling, CNC machining, EDM, laser/waterjet/plasma cutting, sheet metal processing, and welding.
  • Knowledge of post-processing methods including polishing, hardening, heat treatment, anodizing, blasting, coatings, and painting.
  • Knowledge of metals, plastics, composites, and their processing properties.
  • English proficiency at B2+ level.
  • Strong technical drawing interpretation and manufacturability assessment skills.
  • Experience with tooling and fixture design; CAM programming with SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or CypCut is preferred.
  • Customer-oriented communication, strong attention to detail, and ability to work under time pressure.
  • Comfort with CAD/CAM, CRM, cloud systems, and modern software tools.
